Forum rules
A place to talk disc golf, learn from each other, and improve DiscLab.
Zero tolerance. We don't tolerate objectionable content or abusive members. Moderators remove posts that break these rules and suspend or permanently ban the accounts behind them.
- Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or personal attacks.
- Keep it safe and legal. No sexual or nude content, violence, self-harm, or anything illegal. Never post anything that sexualises or endangers a child.
- Keep it useful. Stay on topic, choose the right category, and avoid spam, repeated posts, or undisclosed advertising.
- Respect privacy and ownership. Share only content you have permission to post. Don't publish someone else's private information.
- Use links and images responsibly. No deceptive links or malicious files. Posts with external links or images may need approval.
You must be at least 13 years old to post. Report posts or members that break these rules; block members whose posts you don't want to see.
How moderation works
- Report and block. Every post and member profile has a Report action, on the website and in the app. Moderators review reports, and blocking a member hides their topics and replies from you.
- Review before publishing. An automatic filter holds posts with words on our blocklist, and posts with external links or images from members without DiscLab Pro, until a moderator approves them.
- Decisions. Moderators may remove posts, decline posts held for review, clear a public profile, or suspend an account from posting for a set time or permanently. Each decision comes with a notice that names the rule it rests on, on your notices page and in the app.
- Disagree with a decision? Email support@disclab.eu from your account's email address within six months, and we will look at it again.
- Reporting without an account. Anyone can report illegal content by emailing support@disclab.eu with a link to it and why it is illegal. Authorities can reach us at the same address.
- Threats. We report threats to anyone's life or safety to the police.
